QUATRX ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT OF JEFFERY BRINZA AS GENERAL COUNSEL

ANN ARBOR, MI—QuatRx Pharmaceuticals Company today announced the appointment of Jeffery M. Brinza to the position of general counsel. In this role Mr. Brinza will be responsible for overseeing the company's legal matters related to intellectual property, corporate partnerships and licensing opportunities, clinical trials, financing and other areas.

"Jeff brings a wealth of legal skill and experience that will be important assets as QuatRx prepares for many upcoming milestones in research, product development and corporate partnering opportunities," said Robert Zerbe, chief executive officer of QuatRx.

Mr. Brinza most recently served as a partner at Brinza & Associates, providing legal representation for various pharmaceutical, life science and technology companies, including Abbott Laboratories. He also served as vice president and assistant general counsel at Warner-Lambert Company where he was responsible for overseeing all commercial legal aspects of the Parke-Davis Pharmaceutical Research and Development Division headquartered in Ann Arbor. He has negotiated research, development and commercialization transactions with numerous biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies worldwide.
